Texas - Fine Art Print Map:
Texas’ great extent includes an unusually wide range of sub-regions,
depending on the characteristic being mapped. On this map, elevations rise fairly
steadily from the south and east to the west, with distinct jumps along
the Caprock Escarpment and west of the Pecos. Our classic wall map of Texas uses elevation tints in subtle hues
of green, tan, and brown to show the differences in elevation throughout
the state, from Guadalupe Peak (8,751') to sea level at the Gulf of
Mexico.
This topographic map of Texas displays an incredible amount of detail,
from cities, highways, and mountain ranges, to valleys, rivers, and
small towns. The Texas map elevations are represented by color, and
this, in combination with our relief shading technique, gives the map a
strikingly 3-dimensional look.
